Our move towards sustainability
It is our aim as a business to be more ecological and to reduce single use plastic packaging on goods shipped to retail, therefore from January 2026 we will begin to supply our cards unwrapped.

Our Story
Founded in the UK over 30 years ago, Abacus Cards began with a simple belief: that a thoughtfully chosen card can mean everything. What started as a small, family-rooted business has grown into one of the UK’s leading creators of greeting cards, with designs inspired by life’s everyday moments and milestones. For decades, our cards have been lovingly designed in-house and crafted alongside talented artists, photographers and illustrators, bringing together creativity, quality and a distinctly British sense of style.
Today, we’re excited to bring that same passion directly to you. Our new direct-to-consumer store is all about making it easier to find the perfect card—whether it’s heartfelt, humorous, or simply beautiful. Every design is created with care, printed in the UK, and made to help you connect, celebrate and share meaningful moments, no matter the occasion.
