Make it a December to remember, spread a little Christmas cheer far and wide!
Pupils at Guildhall Feoffment in Bury St Edmunds picked up their pens and pencils to write Christmas cards and spread a little yuletide cheer. Abacus were delighted to provide the school with a selection of greeting cards enabling the children to send their festive greetings.
Writing and sending cards has enabled the children to send yuletide messages and Christmas wishes to friends in the local community, volunteers, and regular visitors to the school. The children also enjoyed the tradition of writing Christmas cards to engage with their overseas pen pals at the Fay Samata school in Athens, Greece.
It has been a wonderful opportunity for Abacus to be involved and help people of all ages near and far to connect. Sending and receiving greeting cards allows us to connect with friends, it’s a way we can express our thanks and gratitude and it helps to convey a little joy and happiness by bringing together the wider community.
